Overview
The European Privacy Seal is bestowed on IT products and IT-based services that comply with the requirements of European privacy law. After the project phase funded by the European Union, EuroPriSe certifications were offered by the Independent Center for Privacy Protection of Schleswig-Holstein (ULD). Since January 2014, the European Privacy Seal has been further administered by EuroPriSe GmbH.
One of the measures to ensure the outstanding quality and independence of EuroPriSe certifications was the establishment of the EuroPriSe Advisory Board in 2014. As an independent expert panel, the Advisory Board has the task of supporting the further development of EuroPriSe by consulting the EuroPriSe Certification Authority (CA) on matters that are of fundamental importance for the quality of EuroPriSe certifications.
